Equality at the Ballot Box Authors

I was privileged to meet several authors of the book “Equality at the Ballot Box” when we each presented a talk on the chapter we wrote for the book. We met first in October in Las Vegas and then in November, in Laramie, Wyoming. In Las Vegas, at the Western History Conference, we participated in a panel on woman suffrage. In Wyoming, we participated in the full day “Women’s Suffrage on the Northern Plains: a Symposium.” This picture includes all the book’s contributors that were able to participate in the Symposium. Each of us wrote a chapter that provides an interesting perspective on one aspect of the fight for woman suffrage in the states of North and South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana. Because most of those states delivered full suffrage for women, the stories provide useful background information for the national story. I encourage you to read the book and let me know what you think!
